Striker Lukas Nmecha has been called up for England U20s ahead of their game against Germany on Monday night, 7pm kick-off.

The on-loan Manchester City forward was on stand-by for Paul Simpson's side, and has now been called up and could feature for the young lions in Colchester.

Nmecha has represented England throughout the age groups from U16s through to U19s, he has also made three appearances for England U21s but is yet to get a cap at U20 level.

The 19-year-old was called up to the England U20 squad in September but had to withdraw before joining up with the squad due to injury.
