PNE Podcast: Season Two Episode 12

26 September 2018

This week’s Official PNE Club Podcast builds up to two huge league outings as North End prepare to take on West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa.

Available through both iTunes and Soundcloud the podcast is available on a weekly basis throughout the course of the season.

Also, the latest episode is also available directly here on the club website.

This week midfielder Ryan Ledson joins us to discuss his own personal form having played back-to-back in the recent games with Sheffield United and Middlesbrough.

He discusses the importance of the Lilywhites building a strong footing at home with West Brom and Wigan Athletic to come at Deepdale over the course of the next two weeks.

He touches on the showing against Middlesbrough under the lights on how that could prove to be a catalyst for North End as they look for an upturn in fortunes.

PNE Academy's professional development phase coach Andy Fensome also catches up with the podcast as he gives an insight into the development of the next batch of PNE youngsters.

It comes following a sixth consecutive win for the U18s as well as seeing recent Academy graduates Josh Earl and Ben Davies excel with the first team with the latter captaining the club in recent weeks.

Goalkeeper Chris Maxwell shares his thoughts following the recent run of form and the occasion of him making his 200th career appearance plus there’s a look back on the Lilywhites recent home form against Saturday’s visitors West Brom.

All that as well as ‘Star Six’ which features former striker Patrick Agyemang, who memorably scored a spectacular overhead kick against the Baggies back in September 2006.

He opens the lid on his memories at Deepdale, that goal and his favourite players he turned out with at North End.

The podcast is brought to you on a weekly basis through iTunes, Soundcloud, TuneIn and right here on the club website by host Guy Clarke.
