PNE Podcast: Season Two Episode Ten

12 September 2018

Ahead of North End returning to action following the international break, Paul Gallagher, Tom Barkhuizen and Jon Parkin all feature on this week’s Official PNE Club Podcast.

Available through both iTunes here and Soundcloud here, the podcast is available on a weekly basis throughout the course of the season.

Also, the latest episode is also available directly here on the club website.

Gallagher and Barkhuizen will both be hoping to make an impact in the coming weeks as PNE face seven games in 22 days before the next international break.

Having put in a number of impressive showings against Reading in seasons gone by, Barkhuizen tells the PNE Podcast how he hopes to rediscover his best form as the Lilywhites look to rise up the table.

With a number of suspensions hitting the midfield over recent weeks Gallagher talks about the importance his experience could have with Ben Pearson and Ryan Ledson both unavailable.

As well as looking ahead to Saturday’s game with Reading at Deepdale, both also look further ahead with the run of fixtures to come.

Cult hero Parkin becomes the latest to reveal his ‘Star Six’ for the official PNE Club podcast.

‘The Beast’ discusses the team spirit during his stay at Deepdale, his hat-trick at Elland Road ahead of the visit to Leeds United on Tuesday night plus news on his autobiography!

The Lancashire Post’s Dave Seddon also joins us to talk about the club’s current run of form as well as discussing Callum Robinson making his international debut with the Republic of Ireland during the break.

There’s all of that plus a listen back over the Lilywhites recent fortunes in front of goal against Saturday’s opponents Reading and information on this year’s North West Football Award nominations.

If you want to feature on an upcoming episode, just email media@pne.com. You can also get in touch through social media using #PNEPodcast.

The podcast is brought to you on a weekly basis through iTunes, Soundcloud, TuneIn and the club website by host Guy Clarke.
