Darnell Fisher returns after being suspended for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup clash with Middlesbrough and is available for selection.

For the first time since August the gaffer has no players suspended and is starting to see light at the end of the tunnel in terms of injuries.

Lukas Nmecha and Ben Davies will push those in possession of the shirts, after missing out on the 18 on Tuesday night; whilst Sean Maguire, who has been out since the final pre-season game against Oldham Athletic, returned to partial training this week, although he needs a few weeks of training before returning to the matchday squad.

Billy Bodin (knee), will then be the only player on the sidelines, with the likes of Calum Woods and Michael Crowe both close to being available for the manager after their respective injuries.
Baggies boss Darren Moore made ten changes for this side’s 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the week and is likely to revert to the side that beat Millwall last weekend to reinforce their positive start to the season.

The game could see former North End players Sam Johnstone – a Wembley winner with the Lilywhites – and Tyrone Mears, a staple of the successful side of Billy Davies, return to Deepdale, both having joined the Baggies in the summer.

If media reports are anything to go by, there are reports another player who could be involved is Bakary Sako, the 30-year-old Mali international is a free agent and reports suggest he is set to sign a deal at The Hawthorns and would be available to play against the Lilywhites.

WBA also picked up another free agent in the form of Wes Hoolahan – who played under Alex Neil at Norwich City – in recent weeks, and he too is likely to be involved in some form in PR1.
