North End face Leeds United on Tuesday night at Deepdale, with both sides looking to get back to winning ways after narrow defeats at the weekend.
This is the third game between the two sides this season, with one win apiece – North End having knocked the Whites out of the League Cup, but the Elland Road outfit took all three points from their home league game against the Lilywhites.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side dropped out of the automatic promotion places with their defeat to Birmingham City at the weekend, but are still just a point behind the victors at Deepdale, Sheffield United, and will be looking for a quick return to the top two.
For Alex Neil’s men, they will be looking for another good performance and hopefully some of the luck and decisions they did not get against the Blades at the weekend.
