The Carabao Cup third round draw will take place on Wednesday night, live on Sky Sports.
North End secured their place in the third round with a penalty shootout victory over Hull City at Deepdale on Tuesday night.
The draw will be conducted following the conclusion of the tie between Lincoln City and Everton.
At this stage of the competition the seven Premier League clubs competing in European competitions will join.
