Loan Round Up: February 2019

We take a look at the weekend's action for our players out on loan, with Kevin O'Connor returning to Cork City with a goal in his first game back at Turner's Cross.

Andy Boyle - Ross County
Boyle made his debut last week in the 2-1 win away to Dunfermline and they face Inverness Caledonian Thistle on Monday night in the Scottish Cup fifth round.

Ben Pringle - Tranmere Rovers
Ben Pringle made his second start for Tranmere Rovers on Saturday in the 2-0 win over Stevenage at Prenton Park. Tranmere currently sit in tenth place in League Two, just six points off the Play-Off places.

Chris Maxwell - Charlton Athletic
Maxwell continues to wait for his chance with the Addicks with Charlton Academy graduate Dillon Phillips keeping his place between the sticks. Charlton drew 1-1 on Saturday at home to Southend United.

Connor Simpson - Carlisle United
After featuring in the previous three fixtures, Connor Simpson was not included in the matchday 18 for Carlisle United's 1-1 draw with fellow Play-Off hopefuls Exeter City on Saturday.

Graham Burke - Gillingham
After making his debut for Gillingham in the 1-1 draw with Coventry City last weekend, Burke played the full 90 minutes once again in the 4-1 defeat to Barnsley.

Kevin O'Connor - Cork City
Defender Kevin O'Connor returned to former club Cork City on loan until at least the summer last week, and got off to a great start with a goal on his return. Kevin's move was confirmed on Friday before scoring with a 25-yard free-kick in Cork's 2-1 defeat to Dundalk in the President's Cup final on Saturday.

Marnick Vermijl - MVV Maastricht
Marnick scored his second goal of the season in the 3-1 win over TOP Oss, playing the full 90 minutes. MVV currently sit eighth in the second tier of Dutch football.

Michael Howard - Stalybridge Celtic
Howard was not involved in the squad on Saturday as Stalybridge Celtic lost 2-0 to Witton Albion.

Tom Stead - Kendal Town
After joining Kendal Town on Friday, Tom Stead made his debut in Kendal's 4-2 win over Market Drayton Town on Saturday afternoon.
