PNE Podcast: Season Two Episode 30

PNE head the short distance down the M61 to Bolton Wanderers this weekend and ahead of the game this week’s Official PNE Club Podcast is now out.

Available through both iTunes here and Soundcloud here the podcast is available on a weekly basis throughout the course of the season.

Ahead of the visit to Bolton striker Sean Maguire speaks to the podcast this week.

The Irishman touches on playing the full 90 minutes against Derby County on Friday night, in a match North End dominated, as well as may other topics.

Having returned from injury at the University of Bolton Stadium to score twice from the bench the former Cork City man has been speaking about his desire to open his account in front of a sell-out away end.

Fellow Republic of Ireland international Callum Robinson also catches up with us this week, giving the latest update on his recovery from injury.

The forward, who’s been out since the end of November, tells the podcast when he’s aiming to get back into first team action.

He also talks about his eagerness to come back and play a big part in the run-in towards the end of the campaign.

Star Six comes from former North End and Bolton striker John Thomas this week.

The forward, who spent two spells at Deepdale, reflects on his time at PNE most notably his first spell between 1985-87 including his legendary partnership in attack with Gary Brazil.

There’s also the latest ‘Talk of the Terrace’ for you too with Sarah Warren joining us this week to give her thoughts ahead of the first away local derby of the season.
