PNE Podcast: Season Two Episode 31

After back-to-back wins the latest official PNE club podcast is out now, reflecting on the wins over Bolton Wanderers and Norwich City, ahead of Nottingham Forest’s visit on Saturday.

Available through both iTunes here and Soundcloud here the podcast is available on a weekly basis throughout the course of the season.

Fresh from heading in his first goal of the season, defender Ben Davies joins us on the line this week.

The 23-year-old shares his thoughts on the Lilywhites’ recent run of form, which sees the club unbeaten in six games, winning four of the last five.

He also talks in depth about the strength of the PNE squad heading into the final 14 games of the season and the development of the defensive unit having formed an impressive partnership with Jordan Storey.

Former North End captain Paul McKenna, who also skippered Saturday’s opponents Nottingham Forest also joins us to preview Saturday’s clash at Deepdale.

Having seen the squad come together under manager Alex Neil the ex-skipper gives his thoughts on what he believes is achievable for the Lilywhites ahead of Forest’s visit.

Plus he reflects on the times he shared with PNE legend Sir Tom Finney following the fifth anniversary of the icon’s passing.

Youl Mawene shares his Star Six this week. The Frenchman talks openly about the best players he turned out with during his six year stint at Deepdale.

‘Talk of the Terrace’ also features this week as we are joined by season ticket holder Neil Thompson.
