The Lilywhites will be looking to continue their excellent run of form as they host Lee Johnson and his Bristol City side at Deepdale on Saturday.
The Robins have themselves been on a fantastic run of late, winning nine straight games until difficult games against league leaders Norwich City and Birmingham City at Ashton Gate on Tuesday night.
Therefore, as manager Alex Neil pointed out in his pre-match press conference, it should be another tight game, with the majority of games against City being nip and tuck encounters in recent seasons.
The likes of Bailey Wright and Josh Brownhill will be looking forward to returning to PR1 as their promotion-chasing side look to get back to winning ways, whilst North End will be aiming to close the gap on the top six.
