Following a second successive away day win prior to Derby County’s visit to Deepdale on Friday night the latest Official PNE Club Podcast is out now!
The latest episode is also available directly here on the club website.
After the 2-0 win down at the Bet365 we reflect on the win with goalkeeper Declan Rudd.
Having been part of the defensive unit to keep a clean sheet down in the Potteries the stopper looks back on the second away win in a row, including his late penalty save from Sam Clucas’ effort.
Rudd also talks at length about the development of the squad through what has been a testing season for the squad with a number of injuries in key positions.
Seeing the development of both Ben Davies and Jordan Storey, as well as midfielder Alan Browne gives credit to the way in which the club’s young players have progressed.
With the transfer window also coming to a close the 28-year-old explains the impact the new faces have had both in the training ground environment as well as on matchdays.
Star Six this week features former PNE defender Ryan Kidd who now works as the Head of Youth at Bury, the side PNE face in the Fifth Round of the FA Youth Cup at Deepdale on Friday 8th February.
Kidd reflects on his decade at Deepdale which saw the side go from the Third Division all the way to the First Division Play-Off Final.
