QPR Victory Wins LG Performance Of The Week Award

24 January 2019

Manager Alex Neil has been presented with the LG Performance of the Week trophy this morning after North End's 4-1 win over Queens Park Rangers on Saturday 19th January.

The Lilywhites put in an outstanding team performance to come away with the three points at Loftus Road.

Jayden Stockley and Brad Potts scored their first goals for the club on their away debuts, while Jordan Storey scored his first PNE goal and Alan Browne netted his ninth of the season in an emphatic win for North End.

The winner of the award is selected by The League Managers Association's five-man panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett and Barry Fry, who selected Preston North End as the latest winner.

The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,000 competitive matches in professional football.

North End will be looking to build on the win this weekend with a trip to Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.
