Goalkeeper Chris Maxwell has joined Scottish Premiership side Hibernian on loan for the 2019/20 season.
Maxwell joins Hibs for the full campaign, which takes him to the end of his current contract at Deepdale.
The 28-year-old's last appearance for North End came back in November, that being his 83rd appearance in a PNE shirt since joining the club in the summer of 2016.
Maxwell played a key role in his first 18 months at the club, keeping the No.1 spot from September 2016 through to January 2018.
The Welshman featured 11 times for PNE in the last campaign, before he spent the second half of the 2018/19 season on loan at Charlton Athletic, and will head to Easter Road in search of regular game time.
