Derby days are always key dates in football fans' calendars and this year we have four derby days to look out for!
The first local clash of the season comes on the first home game at Deepdale, with Wigan Athletic the visitors. In their last trip to Deepdale, North End ran out 4-0 winners and the Lilywhites will be hoping to kick-off the home campaign in similar style this season, but there is no doubt Paul Cook's side will pose a tough challenge.
North End will then host local rivals Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 26th October, and the fans will be hoping for a repeat of last season's 4-1 victory at Deepdale.
The return fixture at Ewood Park will take place on Saturday 11th January 2020, before the final derby of the season just a month later on Saturday 8th February when we travel to the DW Stadium to take on Wigan Athletic.
