Opening Game
Saturday 3rd August - Millwall (A)
North End face a trip to the capital on the opening day of the season, making the trip to The Den to take on Millwall. Last season's trip to Millwall saw goals from Andrew Hughes, Tom Clarke and Sean Maguire as the Lilywhites ran out 3-1 winners at The Den.
Festive Period
Saturday 21st December - Cardiff City (A)
Thursday 26th December - Leeds United (A)
Sunday 29th December - Reading (H)
Wednesday 1st January - Middlesbrough (H)
North End kick-off the Christmas period with a trip to Cardiff City on Saturday 21st December before a Boxing Day clash with Leeds United at Elland Road. It's then a visit of Reading at Deepdale on Sunday 29th December in the final game of 2019, before 2020 kick-offs at Deepdale with a New Year's Day clash against Middlesbrough.
Easter
Friday 10th April - Sheffield Wednesday (A)
Monday 13th April - Nottingham Forest (H)
The Easter period sees the usual two fixtures on Good Friday and Easter Monday, with an away trip to Sheffield Wednesday on Friday 10th April before Nottingham Forest come to Deepdale on Easter Monday.
Final Game
Saturday 2nd May - Bristol City (A)
North End's final game of the regular season sees a trip to Ashton Gate to take on Bristol City on Saturday 2nd May. Both clubs will be hoping to compete at the top end of the table this campaign and so it could be a crucial tie to end the season.
