With the final international break of the season underway, Preston North End will once again be represented on the international stage.
Sean Maguire has joined up with Republic of Ireland ahead of their two Euro 2020 qualifiers against Gibraltar and Georgia, while Lukas Nmecha has been called up to the Germany U21s squad for the first time since declaring for Germany, after previously representing England at youth level.
Germany U21s take on France on Thursday 21st March before taking on England in Bournemouth on Tuesday 26th March.
Elsewhere, goalkeeper Chris Maxwell who is currently on loan at Charlton Athletic, has been recalled to the Wales side ahead of their friendly against Trinidad and Tobago and the Euro 2020 qualifier against Slovakia.
Alan Browne, who also received a call up to Mick McCarthy's Ireland squad, has pulled out of International duty after picking up an injury against Middlesbrough on Wednesday night.
Republic of Ireland take on Gibraltar on Saturday 23rd March before hosting Georgia on Tuesday 26th March, and manager Mick McCarthy has been speaking about managing Sean Maguire's workload while away with the squad.
"The clubs have different health and fitness protocols, and he has missed a lot of games through hamstring strains and pulls, and his schedule at the club would be exactly what they are giving him.
"So I'm cool, whatever they do to get him out on the pitch on a Saturday, is what we will do. He doesn't train on Mondays, he trains Tuesday and Wednesday and I think he has Thursday off and that's only for a short time so they can get the best out of him in games.
"Whatever Preston do, they've got him playing, they've got him playing well and scoring, and I will adhere to whatever they want."
We will have updates from the friendlies both here on the PNE.Com and on social media if any of our players feature for their respective countries.
