On loan Manchester City striker Lukas Nmecha made his debut for Germany U21s on Tuesday night.
Nmecha was a second half substitute in the 1-1 draw with England in Bournemouth, coming off the bench on 60 minutes.
Germany had taken the lead just before the half hour mark, with Dominic Solanke levelling the score for the three lions just before half-time.
It was Nmecha's first taste of action for Germany at after declaring for the country earlier this year, after previously representing England at youth level.
Elsewhere, Sean Maguire was an unused substitute for Republic of Ireland in their 1-0 win over Georgia, having started Saturday's clash with Gibraltar which Mick McCarthy's men also won 1-0.
Both players will now return to Springfields as attention turns back to league action with Saturday's trip to Reading.
