Preston North End manager Alex Neil and defender Ben Davies have both been nominated for Sky Bet's monthly awards.
The gaffer has been shortlisted for the manager of the month award for February, with Davies also up for the player of the month accolade after a run of three wins and two draws throughout the month.
The manager has led the Lilywhites up the table with an impressive nine-game unbeaten run with five of those coming in February, which also included an impressive 3-1 win over league leaders Norwich City at Deepdale.
Alex faces tough competition from Shefield Wednesday boss Steve Bruce, Norwich City's Daniel Farke and Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder.
While Davies, who scored his first goal of the season in the win over Norwich City, is nominated after helping North End to two cleansheets last month, with the Lilywhites conceding just three goals in five games in February.
The 23-year-old is up against Che Adams of Birmingham City, Brentford's Said Benrahma and Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki.
The winners will be announced at 6am on Friday 8th March, with the judging panel comprising of Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet EFL Trader Ivor Davies.
