Daniel Johnson Named In Provisional Jamaica Squad

20 May 2019

Midfielder Daniel Johnson has been named in the provisional 40-man squad for Jamaica ahead of the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup this summer.

Johnson has been named in the squad for the first time, with the final squad of 23 players to be announced early in June.

This year's competition is hosted across three countries including Jamaica, and it could be the 26-year-old's first opportunity to represent his country at senior level.

Jamaica kick-off their Gold Cup campaign against Honduras in Kingston on Monday 17th June.

Also on international duty over the summer are Irish trio Alan Browne, Callum Robinson and Sean Maguire who have been named in Mick McCarthy's final squad for their upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Denmark and Gibraltar.
