PNE WJFC Win The Quadruple

27 May 2019

Few teams can boast of a quadruple quite like Preston North End WJFC’s U14s, after they secured their fourth trophy of the season in the LFA Girls U14s County Cup final at Lancashire FA earlier this month.

The trophy stands alongside their domestic double, winning both the West Lancashire Girls league and cup in the U14s age group, losing just one game in total throughout the season!

Following their heroics in the West Lancashire section, the team headed off to Skegness for the prestigious ESF Football Tournament hoping to add to their trophy tally.

After topping their group, the girls saw off Sheffield Wednesday in the semis before coming out on top against last season’s winners, Cambridge City on penalties in the final to add to their impressive collection.

The girls now have their sights set on more glory, with the ESF National finals at St George’s Park to come in July; good luck girls!
