Alan Browne and Sean Maguire are set to start for Republic of Ireland on Thursday night as Mick McCarthy's side take on New Zealand in a friendly in Dublin.
The pair joined up with Mick McCarthy's squad on Sunday following Saturday's win over Huddersfield Town, for the final international week of the calendar year.
McCarthy named his side on Wednesday night, over 24 hours before the game kicks off at the Aviva Stadium, and Browne is poised to make his eighth senior appearance for the national side while it will be a seventh cap for Maguire.
After their friendly on Thursday night, attention will turn to their crucial Euro 2020 qualifier against Denmark on Monday 18th November.
