Preston North End have agreed a deal to extend their relationship with official nutritional supplier, Science in Sport.
The company work closely with the club’s performance department to provide the first team squad with nutritional products that assist with their fuelling and hydrating and has worked closely with fitness coach Dr Tom Little in this area.
Speaking about the renewal, Sam Driver, Commercial Manager for Science in Sport said: “We’re delighted at Science in Sport to be continuing the relationship this season with Preston North End.
“At Science in Sport, our focus is the quality and performance of all we do, to help our athletes achieve their goals. We have developed a comprehensive range of products to fulfil the nutritional needs of elite football athletes at the top of their game. But we also want to ensure that amateur players at all levels of the game get access to nutrition expertise to improve their performance.
“We want to help players ensure they’re fully fuelled and hydrated - specifically in the last 20 minutes of a match when energy levels typically drop and, consequently, the most goals are scored.”
Preston North End’s Head of Commercial Partnerships, Stephen Hobin added: “I am delighted to of extended our current agreement with the team at Science In Sport which will continue until the end of the 2021/22 season.
“Our performance team value the partnership greatly and the extension demonstrates the great working relationship between both parties.”
Supporters will see the Science in Sport brand proudly displayed within the stadium on a matchday as Preston North End’s official nutritional supplier.
