Sixth Ireland Cap For Browne

12 October 2019

Alan Browne earned his sixth cap for Republic of Ireland on Saturday afternoon.

Browne was a second half substitute in Ireland's Euro 2020 qualifier away to Georgia, with Mick McCarthy's side earning a point in a goalless draw.

The 24-year-old came on in the 73rd minute to replace former North End teammate Callum Robinson, while Sean Maguire was an unused substitute for the game.

Next up it's a trip to Switzerland for the boys in green in their penultimate group game, with Ireland currently sitting top of Group D.

They play in Geneva on Tuesday evening before Alan and Seani will return to Springfields ahead of the club's trip to Reading on Saturday 19th October.
