Daniel Johnson has been nominated for PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month award for August.
Johnson made five starts last month and impressed with four goals and three assists in that period as North End made a positive start to the 2019/20 campaign.
DJ has been nominated alongside Jarrod Bowen of Hull City, Swansea City's Borja Baston, Lyle Taylor of Charlton Athletic and Leeds United pair Patrick Bamford and Ben White.
