Saturday 18th April was set to be this year's Gentry Day, when fans come together to remember those who are sadly no longer with us.
With football still on hold, the day of course can no longer go ahead as planned, however we still want supporters to come together online as we celebrate Gentry Day and remember those we have sadly lost.
On Saturday we need your help in putting together a tribute to those you are remembering on Gentry Day this year for us to share on the day.
If you have a loved one you would like to be included, please send a photograph alongside their full name and a short message to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject 'Gentry Day 2020' by 5pm on Thursday 16th April. Please ensure you have the permission of the family before sending in your tribute.
We are also encouraging supporters to don their traditional suits and bowler hats at home and share their photos with us across social media by tagging us in your posts and using #GentryDay2020. Please only do so if you already have these at home, please don't make any unnecessary trips to the shop!
On the day, as well as remembering those we have lost, we will be reflecting on some memorable Gentry Day games of recent seasons and we want to hear about your best memories of this unique tradition for our club.
We hope you can join us this weekend for our virtual Gentry Day and help us to pay tribute to the members of the North End faithful who have sadly passed away.
