PNE Team Up With Lancashire Teaching Hospitals For Vulnerable Patients

15 April 2020
PNE’s official hydration partners are donating a substantial quantity of drinks, which normally fuel elite footballers week in week out at Deepdale, to play a small part in helping the men and women on the frontline refuel and keep hydrated, while valiantly saving lives across our local communities.
Speaking on the donation PNE’s Head of Commercial Partnerships, Stephen Hobin said, “I am extremely proud of our ever-growing partnership portfolio and the demonstrable strength of our relationships.
“During our regular conversations and while the football season is on hold, we discussed the stock levels we have for the first team, for the rest of the season and soon realised that they could be far better used on our NHS heroes, with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.
“We are extremely proud of the work all the key workers in our community are doing to help in this fight and we reiterate the public health message for everyone to ‘Stay Home, Protect the NHS and Save Lives’.”

“iPRO are constantly working hard to reduce unnecessary waste, which is why we are delighted to support the Clubs' decision to donate much needed bottles of iPRO Hydrate to those actively working on the frontline.”
Paula Wilson, Head of Charities and Fundraising at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, said: “We are extremely grateful to Preston North End and iPRO Sport for their generous donation of water and iPRO Hydrate drinks.
“Preston North End have been a fantastic source of support to the local NHS over the last few weeks and this is yet another example of how they are directly supporting our Trust".
