A look at some of the key periods for North End during the 2020/21 season.
North End kick-off the Championship season at home to Swansea City on Saturday 12th September before a trip to Norwich City on Saturday 19th Saturday, the Canaries' first home game following relegation from the Premier League last season.
The following weekend sees the visit of Stoke City on Saturday 26th September and then a first trip to Brentford's new stadium on Saturday 3rd October. An international break follows before Cardiff City are the visitors at Deepdale on Saturday 17th October.
It's another busy festive period in the Sky Bet Championship with the final game before Christmas seeing Bristol City come to PR1 on 16th December. It's then a Boxing Day trip to Derby County before taking on newly promoted Coventry City at Deepdale on Tuesday 29th December. North End then kick-off the New Year with another home game with Nottingham Forest the visitors on Saturday 2nd January.
The Easter weekend once again sees two games in four days with Norwich City the visitors on Good Friday before an Easter Monday clash with Swansea City on Monday 5th April.
The run in sees a trip to Stoke City on Saturday 17th April before hosting Derby County three days later on Tuesday 20th April. It's then a first trip to Coventry City since 2014 in the penultimate away game of the season on Saturday 24th April.
Our final home game of the season sees the visit of Barnsley on Saturday 1st May before ending the regular campaign at the City Ground as we take on Nottingham Forest on Saturday 8th May.
There are only two local derby games this season coming against Blackburn Rovers, with the first set to take place on Tuesday 24th November at Deepdale before a trip to Ewood Park on Saturday 13 February.
