Preston North End will begin their 2020/21 match preparations this coming weekend with the first of their pre-season friendly games.
The Lilywhites’ first two games will see them take on former PNE favourites in both matches.
The opening game sees Alex Neil’s side take on Graham Alexander’s Salford City, with an early reunion with former North End favourite Tom Clarke, that is a 3pm kick-off on Saturday 22nd August.
Then, three days later, another ex-PNE defender is in charge of the opposition, as we play Michael Jackson’s Tranmere Rovers at 3pm on Tuesday 25th August.
Both games will be played behind closed doors, but are to be broadcast on YouTube via the club’s official website and will be available to all supporters free of charge.
The remaining pre-season games will be announced on Friday 21stAugust, after the confirmation of the 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship fixtures and the details of the Carabao Cup first round tie with Mansfield Town, to be played at Deepdale.
