Junior Shirts To Have Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity Branding

With the announcement of the new Preston North End kits for the 2020/21 season, the club is also delighted to announce a new partnership for its junior kits.

The club’s new shirts will be available to buy online at 5pm on Thursday 20th August and available in store from 10am on Saturday 22nd August, when the first team start their pre-season campaign, wearing the new kit against Salford City.

And the children’s shirts will also be available and will this season have the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity logo on.

The partnership with the local NHS and its charity during the past few months has grown, with the club’s Community and Education Trust recently taking over the NHS Heroes Hub and are now using it to feed families in need in the area, whilst club facilities are still being used for other NHS training and events.

Paula Wilson, Head of Fundraising and Charity Governance at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, said: “Following the handover of the NHS Heroes Hub to PNE Community and Education Trust, this partnership is the next step in helping to establish Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity firmly within the local community.

“Preston North End have been fantastic in their support of our charity over recent months and we’re delighted to now be recognisable amongst young people and their families in Preston and the surrounding areas.

“In the near future, we will be looking to further support children and young people’s services in our hospitals and this is the first step towards highlighting our commitment to this market.”

Harriet Creighton-Levis, assistant head of the Preston North End Community and Education Trust, whose logos will remain on the infant kit, said: “We are delighted to share the junior and infant kit coverage with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity.

"The new Community Support Hub we have taken over will allow us to support those most in need in the local community. By working with local schools, community centres and food banks, we are able to supply to essential goods to those who really need help.

“We are extremely proud to have taken over the running of the hub, supporting young people and vulnerable school children in our local community at an unprecedented time of need, particularly during the summer holidays.

"We also look forward to working closely with the charity in helping our local community in any way that we can.”

Preston North End finance director, Kevin Abbott, who is also chair of trustees of the Community and Education Trust added: “We pride ourselves on being a community club and this allows us to highlight the important work of both our Trust and also the Lancashire Teaching Hospitals Charity at a time when they are needed more than ever.

“I am sure our young supporters will be proud to wear this branding on their kit and we look forward to continuing to work alongside all our charity partners.”

The junior kit will go on sale online at 5pm on Thursday 20th August, with shirts priced at £37.50, shorts at £18 and socks at £8.50. Shirt printing is available for £14.95, with EFL badges also available for £6 a pair. 

Infant kits will also be on sale online from 5pm and they are priced at priced at £26 for a shirt and short set, with shirt printing available for £7 on these sizes.

Both junior and infant kits will then be available in store from 10am on Saturday 22nd August.
