Preston North End will host Mansfield Town at Deepdale in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
The Lilywhites will take on the League Two side in the first competitive fixture of the 2020/21 campaign, with further details to be confirmed in due course.
Following the first round draw which took place at 10am live on Sky Sports News, the two sides will go head to head for the first time since 2004 when the two sides again faced each other in the league cup.
That evening North End ran out 4-0 winners away to the Stags, with Richard Cresswell, Graham Alexander, Omar Daley and Simon Lynch on the scoresheet for the Lilywhites.
There was also a familiar face in the Mansfield line up that night, with current boss Alex Neil in midfield for the Stags.
North End reached the third round last season after wins over Bradford City and Hull City, before bowing out against then-Premier League champions Manchester City at Deepdale.
This fixture will take place behind closed doors and further details on how you can follow the action will be made available ahead of the game.
