Preston North End U18s’ FA Youth Cup tie against Lincoln City has been rearranged for Tuesday 22nd December.
The third round tie will kick-off at 7pm at the LNER Stadium following a postponement on the initial date earlier this month.
The Lilywhites had been set for a Friday night trip to take on the Imps on 4th December but a pitch inspection saw the surface deemed unplayable.
The visit to the LNER Stadium will now be the young Lilywhites’ last outing of the calendar year.
Nick Harrison’s team were poised to visit Tranmere Rovers this weekend in the North West Youth Alliance league but that contest has been postponed due to the Merseyside outfit’s involvement in the FA Youth Cup.
It’s been a strong start to the campaign for the youth team, who are top scorers in their division after nine league games, having most recently defeated Walsall 3-0 on Saturday.
