Preston North End manager Alex Neil has plenty of options heading into Wednesday night’s trip to face Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.
Andrew Hughes came through the weekend’s trip to Wigan Athletic and was joined in the 18 by Paul Gallagher, both back after injury lay-offs.
The absentees for the short trip down the M6 are just long-term casualties, Tom Bayliss, Billy Bodin and former Stoke City striker Louis Moult, who will all definitely miss out.
For the weekend’s win over Charlton Athletic, City boss Michael O’Neill made three changes from their previous outing, with James Chester making his Potters debut at the back.
Meanwhile, pacey young forward Tyrese Campbell returned from a hamstring injury to lead the line and Bruno Martins Indi came back in at left back.
The Northern Ireland chief has plenty of experienced options available to him, with the likes of Sam Vokes making way for Campbell in attack, meaning they also have options for changes should they wish to make them for the game.
