Preston North End manager Alex Neil has no new injury concerns for the weekend’s trip to face Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.
Andrew Hughes has had another full week of training and will be pushing for an inclusion in the 18 for the clash with Paul Cook’s men.
Paul Gallagher also continues to make progress, with the manager having revealed last week that he was back out on the grass, having missed the first month of 2020.
Tom Bayliss and Billy Bodin also continue their rehabilitation from the injuries sustained in training now almost a month ago, whilst Louis Moult continues to make progress as he recovers from the ACL operation he has back in September.
Alex Dobre, Jan Mlakar and Leon Balogun are all eligible to come into the reckoning for the Latics for the first time since their deadline recruitment from Brighton & Hove Albion and AFC Bournemouth respectively.
It will be a tough team selection for Cook, whose team picked up a tremendous 1-0 win at Elland Road last weekend. For that success against Leeds he made four changes, with Tom Pearce, Chey Dunkley, Joe Williams and Gavin Massey coming in
Pearce made his league debut for the Latics in place of Antonee Robinson – who was left out after his proposed £10m move to AC Milan on deadline day failed to materialise - whilst Williams replaced the injured Kieran Dowell, who could be available for this game, whilst Dunkley and Massey replaced Joe Gelhardt and Jamal Lowe respectively, the latter pair dropping to the bench.
All in all, in means the Wigan boss will have plenty of options when the Sky cameras and the Lilywhites roll into town on Saturday lunchtime.
