On the week of the 5,000th Football League game played by Preston North End, we have opened the voting for our 2020 Player of the Year.
In the run up to the historic fixture, we have been speaking to past winners of the now named Sir Tom Finney Trophy, since the launch of the official player of the year award in 1968.

This season, extended by the delay caused by the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing, but you have from today until midnight on Friday 10th July to place your vote for the player of the year and your goal of the season.
The awards will be presented to the players at the conclusion of the 2020/21 campaign, when we will have another interview to add to our section.
