It is one of a small number of stadia that North End are yet to record a win at and there is no better time than this weekend as Alex Neil’s side look for their first three points since the resumption of Championship football.

The PNE boss will be without Paul Huntington, after his retrospective three-match ban, but he will hope to bring Daniel Johnson back, after the top scorer missed the clash with Derby County due to a dead leg.

The clash between the sides at Deepdale back in November saw Jayden Stockley, Alan Browne and a Paul Gallagher penalty give the home side a three-goal cushion after just 50 minutes, before Juninho Bacuna grabbed a late consolation for the Cowley’s Terriers.

This time around, the hosts picked up an excellent 3-0 away win in midweek, against Pep Clotet’s Birmingham City at St Andrews and they will be buoyed by that and will be a test for North End as they look to put pressure on those above them.
