John Kay is to retire as chief executive of Preston North End and from his directorships within the Hemway group of companies at the end of July.
John has worked for the Hemmings’ family for 26 years and during this time has been a highly-valued member of the executive team.
John joined the club in 2014 and received the thanks of Mr Hemmings and his co-directors for his contribution, who also wished him and his wife Lesley a long and rewarding retirement.
John’s responsibilities at Deepdale will be absorbed by the current senior management group of the football club.
