Both PNE and the Owls have seen their managers comment on not being ruthless when on top since returning to play after the long lay-off and both Alex Neil and Garry Monk will look for that to end in the game.

Two penalties from Daniel Johnson gave North End the three points against their South Yorkshire opponents, right back at the start of the season and it will be hoped that the top scorer could return to action this midweek after missing the last couple of games.

The players who came into the side at Huddersfield on Saturday, staked a claim for keeping their shirt, with a solid defensive display that brought a clean sheet and that is something the team will look to build on in the steel city.

The game is live on iFollow, with details below on how to sign up for a match pass and watch the full game, with former PNE and Owls defender Tommy Spurr joining Jonathan Breeze in the Hillsborough commentary box from just after 7.30pm.
