iFollow Update

23 June 2020

Following the experiences of supporters accessing the iFollow service at the weekend’s game with Luton Town, the club have sought assurances from EFL Digital about the service.

A large number of supporters failed to get access to watch Saturday’s game until approximately 14 minutes into the game at Kenilworth Road and were, quite rightly, frustrated by this – a feeling shared by everyone at the club.

The iFollow service is provided by EFL Digital and their streaming partner Endeavour Streaming, who suffered a server outage just prior to kick-off, meaning all iFollow clubs and their supporters in the EFL suffered the same issue.

This was resolved approximately 14 minutes into the game, allowing everyone access, with no further issues during the remainder of the game.

EFL Digital have this afternoon assured the clubs that Endeavour Streaming have put in place the necessary measures to ensure this is not repeated in any of the remaining games. Their senior executives will also be speaking to Championship clubs’ senior board members at a meeting on Tuesday to further explain what happened and detail what will be done to stop any further problems.

Endeavour Streaming’s customer support are working through the backlog of messages that were sent over the weekend, particularly dealing with those that had issues that were not related to the outage and we have again been assured that extra staffing has been put in place to make sure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.

The next two fixtures, against Cardiff City and Derby County, are both Sky Sports fixtures, however, they will also still be available to season tickets holders on the iFollow platform.

If you are yet to redeem your code, you can still do so by clicking here. Those who have already redeemed their code do not need to do it again, just log in when you want to watch the next game.

If you are planning on redeeming your code before the weekend, you are advised to do it early to ensure any issues can be ironed out before the day and if you have any difficulty, please email ifollow@efl.com and not the club’s enquiries, media or ticket office email addresses, as the streaming service is not operated by individuals at the club and we have no access to their customer service teams other than through the same email address.

A number of questions posed by supporters are answered in our FAQs, which can be found by clicking here.

We thank you for your continued support and will continue to push for the highest service levels as possible from both EFL Digital and Endeavour Streaming.
