Preston North End Gain First Official Foreign Exchange Partner

5 March 2020

Preston North End are delighted to announce their first ever foreign exchange partner, after signing a deal with FCI Markets.

The London-based foreign exchange broker have agreed a deal until the end of the 2020/21 season, with an option to further extend on agreement.

The company, with offices in Billericay and London, will also become the title sponsor of the club’s new business club, Club 1880, which is set to be launched later this month.

Speaking about the deal, PNE’s head of commercial partnerships Stephen Hobin said: “I am delighted to be able to announce FCI Markets as Preston North End’s first ever Foreign Exchange partner.

“I brought FCI to Norwich City a few years ago, which was FCI’s first football partnership, so to be able to now bring them to Preston North End and for them see the potential in the club is very pleasing.

“The deal runs through to the end of the 2020/21 season with an option to extend and has both Premier League and Championship fees attached.

“FCI are keen to work closely with the fanbase and we have some great initiatives to announce in the coming weeks for our supporters. In addition, we are also really keen to connect FCI with our business community, sponsors and partners and this will demonstrated through the launch of Club 1880, which launches at the end of March with FCI Markets as title sponsor.”

Steve Tyjas, managing director of FCI Ltd added: “It is great to be working with a club steeped in history and founder members of the Football League, with such legendary players such England’s Sir Tom Finney.

“Having previously worked with Stephen at Norwich City, he really sold us into the direction and plans of the club going forward, with the community, fans, players and management all working towards the same goals.

“For FCI it was a great fit for how we envisage moving forward with our business and we see PNE and their great supporters right at the heart of it.”
