Preston North End will be looking to maintain their position in the top six when they face a tough test at home to Queens Park Rangers at the weekend.
The Rs, who inflicted a defeat on the Lilywhites back in December, have been in good form of late, going five unbeaten, with Jordan Hugill leading the line, having lost top scorer Nahki Wells back to parent club Burnley and ultimately Bristol City in January.
Last weekend they picked up a point, with Hugill on the scoresheet, against another inform side in Birmingham City, who are now 13 unbeaten – albeit they have drawn their last five games.
Mark Warburton, appointed last summer, has done a positive job at the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium this season, with solid foundations of his own being built and recent weeks have shown the ability and threat his side carry, which was evident in their fast start to the season.
For North End, they will be without Ben Pearson again, but after two very tough away challenges last week, will be looking to put on a good display and try and cement their place in the top six before the games are down to single figures!
