Preston North End manager Alex Neil will still be without midfielder Ben Pearson for the weekend’s trip to Kenilworth Road.
The North End No.4 picked up the hamstring problem a fortnight ago and was ruled out for up to six weeks and although the manager stated he was doing well, he is not near a return just yet.
Tom Bayliss, who underwent surgery on his ankle; Billy Bodin (Achilles) and Louis Moult (ACL) are all still out of contention as the Lilywhites take on Graeme Jones’ Luton Town.
Brad Potts missed last weekend’s game against Queens Park Rangers, but he is expected to be available after the knock that ruled him out of the clash with the Londoners.
For our hosts at the weekend, for their goalless draw with in-form Wigan Athletic last weekend, Hatters’ captain Sonny Bradley returned to the side at the heart of the defence, in place of the injured Dan Potts (hamstring) – who was forced off in preview week’s 1-1 draw against Stoke City.
Brendan Galloway and Eunan O’Kane are their long-term absentees, but there are not too many issues for Jones when it comes to picking his squad for the clash with North End.
