Preston North End manager Alex Neil will again be without midfielder Ben Pearson, who is still out with the hamstring injury he picked up at West Bromwich Albion.
The No.4 missed last weekend’s trip to Fulham and looks set to be out for the whole month after injuring himself at The Hawthorns.
Other than long-term casualties Louis Moult (ACL), Billy Bodin and Tom Bayliss (both ankle), there are no other concerns for the Lilywhites’ gaffer, having had a full week of preparations for the visit of the Rs.
This is the 37th game of the season, which also marks the cut off for players being suspended for reaching ten bookings for the season, however, PNE only have Pearson on the precipice of nine and with his injury, that is not an issue.
Mark Warburton has very little in terms of selection headaches at the moment, with only Charlie Owens (knee) being unavailable for him.
Former North End striker, Jordan Hugill, who scored the Rs second goal in their 2-2 draw with Birmingham City last weekend, is expected to lead the line at Deepdale and will no doubt get a positive welcome from the terraces.
