The Player Of The Year Interviews: 1998 – Tepi Moilanen

29 May 2020

Our latest of our Player of the Year interviews forms an edition of the Official PNE Podcast as we contact Finland to speak to popular former goalkeeper Tepi Moilanen.

The big stopper, who arrived at the club in the mid-90s is no longer involved in football, but looks back fondly on his time with the club and the characters he played alongside and worked with.

He reflects on his own career, admitting that he was not a student of the game at the time and feeling a bit of regret for not being more interested in that side of the sport.
He recalls his first game and the best times, including the fantastic 1999/2000 promotion season, when he set a new club record for clean sheets in a league season, as well as the more difficult times coping with injuries.
This special episode is also now available in full on the Official PNE Podcast, available on our usual platforms via the links at the top of the page.
