Preston North End can confirm that they have been informed by the FAI that Alan Browne has tested positive for Covid-19.
Alan was tested on Thursday morning ahead of his country’s game against England at Wembley, where he played the full 90 minutes.
He received the results of the positive result on Friday morning and will now undertake the necessary isolation before he can return to training with the squad.
