This Saturday’s matchday programme is available for pre-order now, with midfielder Ryan Ledson the cover star.
The One And Only is again packed full with interviews and features, with Sean Maguire and Scott Sinclair both joining their midfielder team-mate with interviews.
Speaking to the programme, Ledson said that the first lockdown had been an important time for him. He said: “I knuckled down in lockdown. got myself a lot fitter, I felt superfit, as there wasn’t a lot else to do!
“We had training schedules to follow from fitness coach Tom Little and, when allowed, me, Barky [Tom Barkhuizen] and Raff [Joe Rafferty] used to run together and, to be honest, we got ourselves in good nick!
“Like everyone else, I struggled in lockdown as I am a really social person, I like chatting and mixing with friends and family. I was at home with my dad, mum and sister so I didn’t have it too bad but mentally it was tough.
“Physically, I came back in good shape and I got into the team and I have been able to carry it on into this season.”
And whilst he has been a regular of late, he is not taking anything for granted: “There are a lot of games coming up and I am aware, I may be on the bench or not even in the squad as there will be a need to rotate, but I have been through it and I understand.
“My job is to try and keep my form for the team. It means a lot that the gaffer trusts me and I have the belief in my own ability.
“I am loving playing, I want to play a lot more games for PNE and be here for a lot of years.”
There’s loads more from Ryan, plus all the usual features, including our history sectio0n and 13 pages of contents on Tony Pulis’ Owls.
