2020/21 Season Cards On Sale

8 September 2020

Season cards for the 2020/21 season are now on sale!

We are grateful to all our supporters for their patience over recent weeks and months and their understanding that the details surrounding the sales of season cards was always affected by the current rules and protocols set by the government and the EFL.

The club has received confirmation that it is still the government’s plan to allow supporters to return, on a limited capacity, from October and this, along with confirmation of the EFL’s deal with Sky to allow certain access to iFollow has allowed us to finalise our plans.

There will be a limited capacity at Deepdale from the initial part of the season, meaning that entry will only be guaranteed to those who purchase a season card.

Season cards will go on sale on Tuesday morning and priority will be given in the initial sales period to Ambassadors, with phase one running until Sunday 6th September.

During that period Ambassadors will be able to purchase their season card and those of their friends and family who are current season card holders, provided that they are within the same household, or within the same support bubble, this will mean that they will be able to sit together in the stadium under current government guidelines - a link to these is provided at the bottom of this article.

Following phase one, dependant on availability, season tickets will be back on sale on Tuesday 8th September to all remaining current season card holders, until Friday 11th September – the ticket office will be closed on Saturday 12th September and no sales will be available, online, in person or over the phone on that date.

If any space is available after these two sales periods, a phase three selling period to new season card holders will begin on Tuesday 15th September.

A purchased 2020/21 season card will give access to 21 league games, from Cardiff City – on Saturday 17th October – onwards and also iFollow access to watch the home matches against Swansea City (Saturday 12th September) and Stoke City (Saturday 26th September).

Season cards will be sold in three ways; in person at Deepdale – where we ask that only three people are in the ticket office at any one time to enable all supporters to maintain social distancing (please avoid coming in groups, it is preferable if only the lead booker comes in); over the phone on 0344 856 1966 and online at www.mypne.com.

It is strongly advised that supporters use the new MyPNE.Com service where possible and then the ticket hotline in the second instance, avoiding attendance in person unless absolutely necessary. If you encounter problems when trying to buy online, please email ticketoffice@pne.com with a contact number and we will get a member of staff to call you to process your purchase.

All four Deepdale stands will be open to supporters, however, you will not be able to choose your seat. You will be able to indicate your favoured stand and block, but these cannot be guaranteed due to the need to observe government social distancing regulations.

Due to the need to maximise support bubbles, particularly those with families, the Sir Tom Finney family zone will only permit those purchasing with a junior or U11 ticket as part of their bubble for the 2020/21 season.

Any season card holder from 2019/20 who renews for 2020/21 will have their original seat reserved, to allow them to return to that seat in the following season(s) when attendance levels return to pre-Covid numbers.

In order to meet our responsibilities as a venue to government regulations, every other row within the stadium will only be available for use and all aisle and vomitory seats will be unavailable and two empty seats will be left between each season card bubble or individual purchase.

As announced by the EFL earlier this week all games with a reduced capacity will be available to purchase on iFollow PNE for supporters who do not manage to purchase a season card within the limited numbers. All away fixtures will also be available to purchase on a match-by-match basis. No Championship stadia, including here at Deepdale, are allowing access to visiting supporters whilst the current crowd limits are in place.

There will be no digital season passes available for iFollow for purchasers in the UK and Ireland, each game that is not shown live on Sky Sports will be available on a game-by-game basis, priced at £10 per match – the club gets all income from sales of match passes.

Season card prices have been held at 2019/20 levels, however, due to the need to maximise attendance at all fixtures, the U11 free season cards will not be available in 2020/21; U11s can still be purchased for just £69, with any U11s purchased needing to be purchased alongside a season card holder over the age of 18 and from the same support bubble.

Pricing for disabled supporters is at the year two levels of the previously announced four-year process of moving to the nationally recognised structure of disabled supporters paying the price of their relevant price bracket/stand with a free helper available as a reasonable adjustment where required.

By purchasing a 2020/21 season card, supporters will be agreeing to a new ‘Spectator Code Of Conduct’ as well as the updated terms and conditions and you are advised to read these before buying your season card, links to both are available below.

Car park passes will also go on sale from Tuesday 1st September. Spaces are reserved for previous car park pass holders. Renewals of a car parking space will be reduced to £210 and new space holders can purchase for £250. New spaces and renewals will also be available to buy through the new MyPNE.Com website with current space holders’ spots held until Friday 11th September, after which they will be released for general sale.

We will be issuing new season cards this season. These cannot be printed until the allocation of seats, so they will be sent to all supporters in advance of the Cardiff City game.

As part of the government’s track and trace programme, all season cards will be registered to one individual and the name, address, email address and a contact phone number will need to be supplied for each purchase.

A separate announcement has been made about season cards in hospitality areas at Deepdale, providing season card holders in these areas the information required and pricing for the 2020/21 season, this can be found here.

Thank you again for your patience and your continued support during what has been a challenging time for everyone and we look forward to being able to welcome you safely back to Deepdale to support Alex Neil and his team this season.
