Sepp van den Berg has received his first call up to the Netherlands U21 national side.
The on-loan Liverpool defender has previously featured for their U19 side, making ten appearances in that age group, but will now make the step up to the level just below the seniors.
19-year-old Sepp and his team-mates will begin their qualifying campaign for the 2023 European Championships on Tuesday 7th September as they take on Moldova, kicking off at 5.45pm.
That will be their only game of this international break, with a double-header against Switzerland and Wales coming in October.
