As we enter the festive period, Peter Ridsdale would like to share with you the following message.
The last 20 months have seen challenges off the field like few have ever experienced before. A worldwide pandemic which led to matches being played behind closed doors and then just as we felt things were getting back to normal, a new Covid strain came to challenge us once again.
On the field we have similarly faced a rollercoaster of challenges but as we look forward to the New Year, the recent appointment of manager Ryan Lowe and first team coach Mike Marsh has allowed us to renew our confidence in our desire to challenge at the top end of the Championship.
During the pandemic many of you will have lost loved ones or know of close friends who have done so. We lost our owner and benefactor, a loss that we are still coming to terms with. At this time of year everyone at PNE’s thoughts are with those who have suffered such a loss.
Whatever your religion or beliefs as we enter the holiday season, it is a time for families to enjoy coming together and so on behalf of everyone at Preston North End Football Club we would like to thank you for your continued support.
Enjoy the break and we look forward to welcoming you back to Deepdale in the coming months.
