Preston North End have been informed by Cardiff City that our FA Cup third round tie in January is expected to take place behind closed doors.
Following the Welsh government's announcement that sporting events in Wales must be played behind closed doors for a limited period, we anticipate this affecting our fixture at the Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday 9th January 2022.
The club have also had confirmation that while the game will be broadcast on SC4, it will also be available to watch live on the BBC via the red button, with English commentary.
