Midfielder Ben Pearson has joined AFC Bournemouth on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee.
The 26-year-old joined the Lilywhites in January 2016 from Manchester United and went on to make 165 appearances, scoring two goals.
The former No.4 was out of contract in the summer and had indicated that he wanted a new challenge and was not interested in signing a new contract.
He had made just nine league appearances this season, last playing in the clash with Wycombe Wanderers in early December, when he was forced off through injury.
Everyone at Preston North End would like to wish Ben the very best in the future and thank him for his contribution in the last five years.
